Project Profile

The project My Hospital Assistant concentrates on improving the quality of hospitalisation of patients being treated for complex pathologies and in the post-operation period, through the integration of a multimedia information platform and a system of direct communication between patients and care centres.

The objectives of the project include:

• Improving the patient's condition, informing them of the care plan and of events tied to the pre- and post-operation phases;
• Creating direct and continual contact with the hospital's doctors, providing the patient with a simple tool for auto-evaluation and for notifying the medical staff;
• Producing useful reports for the hospital.

The realisation of these objectives will be made possible through the development of an application for tablets which is easy to use, personalised with the logo of the hospital and with contents redacted by specialised medical teams. Together with the iPad application a Web Application will be developed from which the information content can be managed in text or multimedia form linked to the various pathologies.

In this way the patient will have available a genuine personalised "Diary" in which to annotate all the information and evaluations on the course of the disease, on treatment, and on their state of health.
