SEGUI IL PROGETTO
This project proposes to identify and create operational methods and structural interventions for optimal management of the water-energy cycle with a view to environmental sustainability.
The project has a duration of three years and foresees, furthermore, a training course organised by the University of Calabria in collaboration with Epsilon, aimed at ensuring the creation of new professional figures capable of managing and supporting the water/energy cycle.
More particularly, the Master's, lasting 1500 hours (to be completed by January 2014) is directed towards 15 young graduates in scientific subjects. The professional figures trained will be capable of operating in the fields of Integrated Hydraulic Services, Planning and Management of the Territory, and Environmental Protection of Local Public Bodies, Research Bodies and Businesses, making use of the new skills acquired on urban drainage systems and new technological platforms for the integrated and sustainable management of the water-energy cycle. In the University Master's, meetings are foreseen with teachers of international renown and some projects of experimentation are already in progress, such as the installation in line with cube 46C of the Mechanics of a so-called "Green Roof" covered with earth and vegetables.
