Description	The project City Free does not seek to extirpate the daily use of one’s own means of transport through a structurally extravagant approach, but by transforming an apparently unfavourable condition into an advantage for citizen viability. The solution proposed is to use the carpooling system innovatively, a sustainable mode of transport born in the USA at the start of the ‘70s which consists in the sharing of private automobiles among several people, with consequent reductions in transport costs and less impact on the environment: one or more of the subjects involved make their own vehicles available, while the rest contribute adequate sums of money to cover a part of the expenses incurred by the drivers.
