Description	Soles, a leader in building interventions extraordinary historic buildings, will conduct a research project on the procedures for seismic upgrading of cultural heritage whose goal is the production of a certified interpretive model for the simulation of preventive interventions. The model will be built on the basis of studies and surveys carried out at three sites identified in a representative sample of the main situations found in practice interventions, based on design requirements and constraints of the protection of buildings subject of experimentation. The new knowledge gained from the research project will operate under conditions of increased predictability can count in the design phase of new and more effective simulation tools to guide procedures, settings, connection techniques and solutions specific to each type of intervention. It will also allow any re-engineering processes, materials and equipment currently used. The ultimate application of the model certificate is indeed to encode the technical intervention lifting and seismic isolation of historic buildings and works of art, to operate with less invasive than currently allowed by simple mutation techniques used in modern building. In terms of spillover effects in the relevant market is noted that the Italian cultural heritage property estimated by the Ministry is responsible for over half a million of assets, distributed evenly throughout the national territory, which must be added - but not can count - what can not be legally defined cultural property (such as the concept of historic center, because there is a protection device that identifies a historic center as a good historical and artistic interest, if not of the Any sum of individual assets that compose it).
