Description	The proposed project is based on the confluence of scientific interests between companies and public research centers for the development of new molecular systems for the diagnosis and therapy of socially important oncological pathologies. The novelty of the present project resides in the multidisciplinary approach by which the whole research iter will be developed starting from the choice of specific molecular markers in some tumors and the synthesis of molecular systems able to interact with them up to the preclinical evaluation of obtained compounds. The project will be realized through a strong synergy between public and private centers and complementary technologies that will be made available at all the partners. As part of this project it is also expected to explore new labeling strategies of peptides or proteins by fluorinated prosthetic groups and/or chelating groups for therapeutic and diagnostic applications. Moreover, the project innovation concerns the development of the radiopharmaceutical in a stable formulation. A limit in the development of radiopharmaceuticals is indeed due to the high effect of radiolysis caused by radioactivity that destroys the carrier molecule of radioisotope in a few hours. The radiolytic effect makes the marketing of these radiolabelled molecules impossible. The study of a formulation that stabilizes the final product, even if just for three days, makes the radiolabelled product available for market use. In the present project a new molecular system based on miRNA for the diagnosis on serum of oncological deseases will be also developed. In conclusion, all project activities have the potentiality to lead to products of interest in the clinical field.
